My Bridal Diaries; Tara’s Spanish Dream..

Hello there everyone/brides to be,

Up this week I have a throwback to Tara’s gorgeous wedding in Marbella, Spain (quite appropriate given the freezing cold in Ireland today!)

I was flown over to Marbella & driven up to this amazing villa in the hills where Tara and her bridal party were waiting. From the get to Tara was so easy going & a pleasure to deal with. She is the mastermind behind one of the most popular bridal dress stores, The Suite so she is well accustomed to this wedding business and she knew exactly what she wanted!

WOW!

We met for a trial a few months before the big day and settled on a natural skin – glowing & dewy with a smokey eye to offset her indian roots. Her dark colouring just blossomed in the pics!

Along with herself the morning of in the Villa, I had her two lovely bridesmaids (one of whom was her sister & was about to pop!), & mum. Everyone was so lovely, which generally happens on these mornings – you nearly feel like you don’t want to go home! haha..

Tara & her gorgeous bridesmaids

The girls wore a blush pink dress which complimented Tara’s dress & flower choice beautifully. Her mum was ultra glam and didn’t go for the classic mother of the bride look, instead she looked amazing in a floor length show stopper!! A lot of mums are unsure at times about having makeup done as they fear it may be too heavy or too false looking. Once you have an experienced artist, the makeup look will be totally tailored to that client (no matter what the age) so all you should feel is a more confident version of yourself, here’s a close up;

Definitely something in the genes…ey!?

So glam!!

My partner in crime that morning was the amazing Carla Rose – she is someone I recommend regularly to future brides. I had never met her previously but you’d swear we were best of mates by the end of our day out in Marbella :)

It is really important to choose a nice team for the morning of your wedding – when you think about it, the morning is nearly a third of your day so you want it to be as pleasant as possible! I have worked with a lot of lovely people in the past so would always put emphasis on this to brides whilst in the selection process.

Not only was Carla lovely & easy going the hair was fabulous;

After one or two touch ups off they went to the church near by…

Never a day where I don’t have makeup on my hands!

Tara and groom John has beautifully decked out the villa for the wedding reception where they were to dine by the pool. It looked amazing but I didn’t get to see much as I was straight back on a flight to Dublin with a wedding the next day to attend to ( the glam life… :))

All in all it was a great day out in Spain. Her family were just so lovely and like I said Tara was a pleasure to deal with from the get go – as Im sure you can see she looked utterly stunning and knew her style and how to make everything flow to a T.

Looking forward to more abroad weddings this year – its always nice for a change scenery, see you again soon Marbella! :D

I hope you enjoyed the snapshot of Tara’s day! If you’re a bride to be or enquiring on behalf of someone who is you can email;
